Discover the foundation and power behind full-body, functional movement using the BOSU® Balance Trainer and NEW Fabric Resistance Bands! In this Workshop you will discover our 'Fab 5' functional exercises through a deep discussion on form, progressions, and common considerations. Then, learn to create a fusion & flow sequence for each foundational movement during the practical segment to experience first-hand how they effortlessly link together. Finally, walk away with a myriad of fun and dynamic ways to prepare, challenge, and progress your clients and participants to move fabulously throughout all 5 exercises and beyond!

Equipment: BOSU® Balance Trainer 1:1 & BOSU® Fabric Resistance Band 1:1 (or any other similar, small loop band)

NOTE: THIS WORKSHOP DOES NOT GRANT CEC'S

For the best experience we recommend:

  • Using a genuine BOSU® Balance Trainer (any generation) which includes unique and patented features - substitutes may not allow the same results
  • Wearing gym shoes or minimal shoes
  • Having a towel handy to wipe sweat from surface of Balance Trainer - prevents slipping and avoids potential injury

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this Workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss how the prioritization of neuromotor training results in coordinated, whole body movement
  • Set up and execute regression to progression with our 5 foundational moves incorporating external stimulus with the BOSU® Balance Trainer and Fabric Resistance Band
  • Show how use of both products allow for variability in exercise sequences and task/load tissue structures differently
  • Understand how to set intention, purpose, and focus when designing fusion sequences
  • Learn and teach several creative sequences based on a foundational movement fused with others to allow effortless flow into the next
  • Express how to progress and regress each exercise for varied fitness levels
  • Cue effectively to maximize the total body training experience for each participant
